Took us by car to Villa d’Este – May 2015, couple

Good location near railway station & Gregorian Villa. The owner is very kind and hospitable. He helped to select a city-route, provided discount to Gregorian Villa and took us by car to Villa d’Este. Home- made cakes were excellent at the breakfast. All kitchen facilities were available.

Owner advised to go to Hadrian Villa by bus. Perhaps it’s ok for young people. Bus stop is far from the hotel. Cat bus and cotral bus are available. You must buy bus tickets in advance. Cat tickets are not valid for Cotral and cotral tickets are not valid for cat. Cat goes very seldom and cotral stops at 1,5 km from the Villa. Waiting at the bus stop under sunshine is hard. So taxi is better for Hadrian Villa.
