The guest house “Il Vecchio Treno”
is in the city centre, just in the road behind the train station. It is at two-minutes walk from Villa Gregoriana.
With a short and pleasant walk you can also get the old town and its most suggestive places and monuments: Villa d’Este, Rocca Pia, Anfiteatro di Bleso, Tempio di Vesta e Sibilla, the Gothic House.
Coming from Rome you have several alternatives to reach Tivoli:
• by TRAIN: take the Roma-Avezzano train from Tiburtina Station (www.trenitalia.it or calling 892021)
• by BUS: “Cotral” coaches, leaving from Ponte Mammolo Station in Rome (Terminal of the Underground Line B)
• by CAR
1. take the highway A24 Roma-L’Aquila and then the
